Brooksville, Florida is home to some of the most stunning rustic barn wedding venues in the entire Southeast. Here are the top options that couples and vendors consistently recommend.
Saxon Manor Weddings
Saxon Manor is arguably Brooksville's most iconic wedding venue. Located on a sprawling estate with grand live oak trees, it features a beautifully restored barn with exposed beams, string lights, and a ceremony area under a natural oak canopy. Capacity: approximately 150–200 guests.
SBS Events note: We perform regularly at Saxon Manor. The barn acoustics require careful speaker placement — the corrugated tin roof creates echo that amateur setups can't handle. We've solved it.
The Barn at Oak Creek
A classic Florida barn venue with a strong outdoor ceremony component. The surrounding landscape features heritage oaks, wildflower fields, and a natural pond that photographs beautifully at sunset. Popular for smaller, more intimate weddings (under 120 guests).
The White Barn by Wedding Venues of Hernando
An elegant take on the barn aesthetic — whitewashed interior walls, crystal chandeliers, and a more refined atmosphere than traditional "rustic." Popular with couples who want barn charm without the "country wedding" feel. Capacity: up to 175 guests.
Legacy Lane Weddings
One of the most photogenic venues in Hernando County. The venue features a covered pavilion with string lights, a beautifully manicured ceremony lawn, and separate bridal and groom suites. Highly regarded for their coordination team.
Things to Ask Every Venue
1. What is your rain backup plan for outdoor ceremonies?
2. Do you have a generator, or do vendors need to provide power?
3. What time does amplified music need to end?
4. Are there preferred or required vendor lists?
5. What is included in the rental fee vs. what is additional?
